1. Who we are
VeganFests (veganfests.com) is a directory of vegan and plant-based events, vendors, and stays worldwide. We are operated independently. You can reach us at hello@veganfests.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit a listing, claim a listing, or contact us, you may provide your name, email address, website URL, and a description of your event, business, or stay. We use this only to review and publish your listing and to follow up with you.
No account registration. VeganFests does not currently offer user accounts. We do not collect passwords or payment information.
Browser storage. VeganFests uses your browser's localStorage to remember events you have saved (hearts) and recently viewed listings. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to our servers.
3. How we use your information
- To review and publish event, vendor, or stay listings you submit
- To respond to your enquiries and follow up on submissions
- To contact you if we have questions about your listing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Cookies and tracking
VeganFests does not use third-party analytics, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar services. The only browser storage we use is localStorage for the features described in section 2.
5. Third-party links
Listing pages link to external websites (festival websites, resort sites, vendor pages, social media). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before submitting personal information to them.
6. Data retention
We retain information from form submissions for as long as necessary to process your listing request and for a reasonable period thereafter. If you would like us to delete information you have submitted, please email us at hello@veganfests.com.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@veganfests.com and we will respond within 30 days.
8. Children
VeganFests is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
