Vegan Summerfest is the North American Vegetarian Society's flagship annual conference, held July 8–12, 2026 on the 650-acre mountaintop campus of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. The five-day immersive event brings together physicians, dietitians, chefs, and advocates for sessions spanning nutrition, animal rights, environmental stewardship, and plant-based cooking — all fueled by expertly prepared fully vegan meals. Attendees can choose a full five-day package or a three-day weekend pass, with on-campus housing available.
